About Vidisha

The story

Vidisha has wanted to be a dietitian since she was 16, because she saw how making simple changes can have a big impact on people’s health and self-esteem. After completing her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and combined Masters Degree/Dietetic internship program at the University of Memphis Vidisha went on to  work in various settings such as inpatient psychiatric hospitals, long term care facilities, private practice, and corporate wellness.

During this time she has enjoyed promoting her gentle approach to lifestyle changes that focuses on simple and realistic changes. Although Vidisha has worked with all types of clients with various health conditions , her expertise include working with clients with:
-Mental health diagnoses
-On Psychiatric medications
-Emotional eating
-Plant based eating
-South Asian diets

When she is not working she enjoys exploring different restaurants, long walks, attending comedy shows, spending time in nature,  playing recreational volleyball, going to the movies, and spending time with her cat/family.

My Philosophy

I truly believe making simple changes consistently is more powerful than drastic changes all at once. Which is why I take a more gentle approach to lifestyle changes.

I use the health coaching method where instead of me telling you what to do we collaborate together to generate solutions because you are the expert of your own body.

I strive to create a size inclusive, judgment- free space, where we focus on building a better relationship with food and your body.
